Daryl Dolynny was elected to the 17th Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories as the Member for Range Lake on October 3, 2011.

A long-time Yellowknifer, Mr. Dolynny was born and raised in northern Alberta. After completing his BSc in Pharmacy at the University of Alberta, Daryl married his university sweetheart Cindy. They made the move north in 1992 purchasing the Yellowknife Shoppers Drug Mart franchise.

In 2004, Mr. Dolynny became the first NWT resident and pharmacist in Canada to be named in the Globe and Mail’s “Top 40 under 40” list. Fluently bilingual, he has also received the National Lauriers de la PME award, which recognizes excellence in francophone entrepreneurship.

Mr. Dolynny has served in senior roles on the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation and the Yellowknife Community Foundation.

Mr. Dolynny and his wife Cindy reside in Yellowknife with their two children.
