Standing Committee on Government Operations Postpones Public Hearing Due to Tragic Accident
(NORMAN WELLS) Monday, September 9, 2013 – Due to a tragic accident that occurred in Norman Wells this past weekend, the Standing Committee on Government Operations postponed the public hearing on Bill 24: An Act to Amend the Liquor Act scheduled for Sunday, September 8.
Michael M. Nadli, Chair of the Standing Committee on Government Operations, offers condolences on behalf of the committee, “we offer our condolences to the family and to the entire community of Norman Wells during this difficult time and as a gesture of respect, the committee will reschedule the hearing on Bill 24 to a later date.”
Mr. Nadli advised Norman Wells Mayor Gregor Harold McGregor of the committee’s decision on Sunday.
